I’ve been taking medication for my acne called “Doxycycline” for 4 months straight and my dermatologist told me that the pill makes my skin sensitive to light so I shouldn’t go to tanning beds and that I should always wear sunscreen when I go out. She also said that I cannot do laser hair removal because it will burn my skin since it’s extra delicate. I told her that I wanted to do laser hair removal eventually and she said that I had to be off the pill for 3-4 months so everything could get out of my system/bloodstream....

There are a few that trigger getting rid of acne. Orto-Tri-Cyclen Yaz (beware of the severe recalls on this one though) and there was something else that started with an E, I cant remember though.
