Hi, i just wanted to know what type of vitamin is good for acne? I started having acne when i was 16 and now im 24, and i did take some antibiotics for 3 years , which is lymecycline and also i used benzoyl peroxide. It did work but after awhile then i stopped taking them, but the spots came back again. I decided not to take any antibotics, because it gave me side effects and the benzoyl peroxide made my skin go all dry and sensitive. I started taking vitamin C, zinc with copper, bromelain and barley grass. What i wanted to know, is vitamin B5 safe?...

I’ve been taking b5 to help stop oil production, and it seems to clear my skin, but will I always need to take it? What I mean is, after puberty, will my body still understand to naturally slow oil production(assuming I won’t suffer from adult acne)? Is it possible to become “dependent” on a vitamin? Thanks for your constructive answers  »View More

I get a few pimples and i get brown scars from them, and i heard if you pop a Vitamin E capsule and take the oil and rub it on your face, it helps heal scars and makes your skin better looking. But i was wondering: -when are you supposed to do this, in the morning or at night? -And how long do you leave it on, and do you wash it off? -Will this make me break out more? Please give me details..  »View More

ive been using vitmain e to get rid of my acne scars for the past couple of weeks, but really dont see much of an improvment. I even take a vitmain e pill every day with vitamin c to help with my skin…but anyway…is there anyway to get rid of acne scars besides using vitmain e? im sick of having to stare at them everytime i look in the mirror, and i dont want to wait MONTHS for them to go away. Thanks!  »View More

I bought both, but I want to know which one to return, because if they do the same thing I don’t want to waste my money. If you know why please include that.  »View More

would the vitamin E cream from the body shop work to get rid of little dark brown spots from picking pimples? they are not severe scars or anything, more just ‘discoloration’ but i think they are really ugly. does any one know if that will work?  »View More

I had heard that topical vitamin E will help acne scars, so i’ve been using it everday for a while, but lately i’ve seen on the internet that it might actually worsen the appearance of the scars. I really don’t know what to do now. So if you have any tips or reccommendations for things i should do please answer. thanks :]  »View More

I’m wondering if this is a sign that my skin is clearing itself out, or that I am making my skin worse? It’s mainly ALL blackheads and whiteheads. I use an exfoliant and daily cleanser, but I am terribly oily and use powder often throughout the day to stay matte.  »View More

I’ve been struggling with breakouts since middle school (i’m 22 now) and lately i’ve been getting more and more breakouts. I tried prenatal vitamins to help but besides making my nails healthy, they haven’t improved my skin at all and I’m almost done with the bottle! I’m skeptical about trying Murad, does anyone know if this stuff works or a different brand that works well? Thank you so much…  »View More
